I've been a bit off kilter since P-Con ended. Shari has been out of one of her prime medications that keeps her from being hypomanic (sp?). She's been having nightly dreams that have her convulsing in bed at night, and waking up from nightmares. The other day I had to hold her while she cried in fear. I had to wake her up because her breathing was ( Read more... )

You are being too modest, Blue. Your post, while explaining your fatigue, also shows us how much you love your wife. Your patience is admirable!

Look up the medication Shari is on and see if the drug maker doesn't offer coupons. I do this with all my meds because a lot of them are very expensive even with insurance. And if you don't have insurance some drug makers like Lily will help you fill your script at a greatly reduced price. Don't let pride stand in your way....check it out.

The two of you are blessed to have each other

Share is on Medicare/Medicade (or whatever it is). The co-pay is only $40. However, at the end of the year she goes through a short waiting period (I forget what she calls it) where her medication is not paid for. She takes Geodone. It is still under patent, so no generic. It costs over $300 to fill without medicare. Pride is not an issue, nor would we let it get in our way ;-)
