I don't have any advice, but I empathize greatly on the depression stuff getting in the way of everything, and on the packratting.

Let me know if I can help with anything. I don't have much money and I don't have a car, but I can listen, I can suggest rhymes for a song or I can just applaud wildly.

Sorry things are so tough. Interesting that Portland may be a place you can get a decent day-job gig. There's certainly an active music scene there, I lived there for 20 years so I can say that with confidence.

While you're still here, can we do "duelling daytimers" and figure out a time during the weeks that we could get together and jam on a regular basis? I can come over to your place if that's easier, or you could come up here; we have a nice-sized living room. I need to get more music-playing time in, and I'd really enjoy doing some of that by jamming with you.
