Finally having a Sunday morning off from work meant I got to go to church. I went to Gateway Church. It was amazing. Large open auditorium. The whole feel of it felt like a rock concert. I've spent the afternoon cooking. Being alone doesn't mean I can't eat Easter dinner. I'm making ham, green bean casserole & garlic mashed potatoes. Not too bad. ( Read more... )

Tyler made the trip home from the hospital safely, in spite of his fathers driving! He is happily asleep in Grandma Goldstein's arms. Here are two pictures of him on the way home. Good news! Tyler is no longer on the respirator. Last night he pulled it out himself! He's one tough baby. He continues to get better.

Tyler Matthew Becker was born around 11am this morning.

Got an early wake-up call from Matt just before 5 am. He said that my sister just went into labor. It looks like I'll be an uncle before the day is up.
