there is a tiny deer living in my woods that is hurt. i think his family has deserted him because he's injured. how sad.. makes me think about whales actually. if one is beached and cant be rescued the whole herd will commit suicide by beaching themeselves. biology is so funny like that. so every once in a while we'll see the little limping deer

i think they would put him/her down if they came out. also they dont treat wild animals i dont believe so the game warden would have to take care of it. which is definatelly indicating putting the animal down. its just its little hip! oh man i hope its okay.

we saw him again tonight just walking around a few miles away. didnt seem like he was in any danger or anything (there are no predators around here that would hurt him fyi). maybe he'll recoup and be adopted by a herd
