my friend austin thinks that the guy-girl duo from "super size me" is doing their next documentary at Carfagna's (a meat wholesaler) on 161. he said that the girlfriend of the guy who was in the movie is in this one instead of him, and he is the one shooting. she is a vegan chef from NYC and apparently this film is about her working at a meat ( Read more... )

there is a tiny deer living in my woods that is hurt. i think his family has deserted him because he's injured. how sad.. makes me think about whales actually. if one is beached and cant be rescued the whole herd will commit suicide by beaching themeselves. biology is so funny like that. so every once in a while we'll see the little limping deer ( Read more... )

i find two groups of related people disheartening and at times even disturbing. the first group is people who are absolutely at rock bottom and are outwardly playing it off as though they are enjoying it. i cant for one minute believe that any person would like being at the places in life that i have witnessed lately and say with a straight face ( Read more... )

there is a man my family knows who is going through a really rough time. hes been on and off homeless for several years now, its just heartbreaking for my overly-sensitive family. another family who regulary helps this man out has told me that they believe he has a drug problem as well, further adding to the cycle of poverty and ruin. where does ( Read more... )
