my friend austin thinks that the guy-girl duo from "super size me" is doing their next documentary at Carfagna's (a meat wholesaler) on 161. he said that the girlfriend of the guy who was in the movie is in this one instead of him, and he is the one shooting. she is a vegan chef from NYC and apparently this film is about her working at a meat ( Read more... )

extended nursing (beyond 6 mos-beyong a yr), i believe made them healthier. they are expressive. i feel by considering how i would feel in their place and thus treating them that way, they are more secure ( ... )

do some really consider beyond SIX months as extended BFing? that surprises me if so. has cosleeping as much as you have come between you and your husband at all? and how was it getting used to it? husband is worried since im such a light sleeper that it would only keep me even more awake all night long.

we are probably going to spank when needed. though not with our hands - probably like a wooden spoon or something. hands are for loving not hurting and i want our kids to know that. though once the child can be corrected by talking it out logically i hope we dont do it anymore. i have the dr. sears "dicipline book" but i havnt cracked it open yet.

I came across your journal and found it interesting. I read some things on our_nest before you made it friends only. The nursery looks like it is going to be adorable. I also read how much you loved your husband and how well he treated you. It was inspiring as I've only been married for 1 1/2 years so it is still challenging at times (and I'm sure there will always be a measure of challenge)

Anyways, I was reading how you went to a church in Columbus. Our church which is in Kokomo, Indiana is affiliated with World Harvest church another large one in Columbus. I wonder how the small churches fair w/ so many people going to the large ones :)

thank you! yes world harvest is huge, though ours is surprisingly bigger which i just recently found out (about 7,000 attendees each weekend)
