yeah, moved over to dreamwidth. got to move some of what I have on here over and, chances are, this one will only mirror that one...
but it's time I grew in new directions, maybe.

I watched one of my favorite movies yesterday
The Princess Bride in case you were wondering.
It had been a while since I had seen it so I really was remembering it through rose-colored glasses.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it. It's still a fun movie...
But I realized for the first time that Buttercup? Is the type of heroine* that makes me grit my teeth and yell at the page/screen to 'pick ( Read more... ) -

Internet laws or Politicians want more money for them and less freedom for you.
You've all probably already heard of/read about this so I won't add a heck of a whole lot to the noise.
I will say that, by and large, censorship hasn't worked the way people think it will. This bill, and others like it are...not poorly written because they are rather interesting and cleverly worded legal documents but rather ambiguously written ( Read more... )
