I'm back at home after 5 weeks of living out of a suitcase. It feels so good be back. Now when my husband comes home in 3 weeks, things will be looking up :)

I finished up my ER rotation on Friday by spending the day with LifeAir helicopter rescue. I had to have the whole training spill from the pilot, the ol don't stand near the blades, wear your helmet at all times, if we go down in a fiery crash get out fast and just let me burn, you know. Tonight was busy. We had a guy brought in by the paramedics early on in the night. He was caught sleeping with another man's wife, and that man reciprocated by stabbing the aforementioned man various times in the chest. Tonight is my last night shift in the ED! It's sort of similar to going to the gym....the hours leading up to it suck, and I'm all 'noooooooo, i don't want to gooooo', but then once you get there, it's great.
