We just went and looked at a place in Broadbeach, and ahhh, its amazing! I like it as much as the place in Varsity Lakes, although the advantage or Varsity is its a lot bigger and I could rent out a room. This place in Broadbeach is only 2 bedrooms, but I love it! Its $310,000 at the moment, but its up for sale for 4 weeks and gone down $5,000-$10, ( Read more... )

Nice, nice. It's fun looking for places... even when you're just renting it's fun. Stessful, but fun.

I hope you get a really nice unit/house/whatever for little dollars.

I'm excited for you. I wish I had a job so as to buy a place to permanently live!

yeah, it is fun, but so stressful!

if you get that one you have to promise me you'll paint over that horrendous sponge-painted wall in the 2nd bedroom. please!!!

it's so exciting that you're getting a place - makes me want to move back to australia so i can rent out your 2nd room! the broadbeach one would be great - can you walk to the beach or that giant shopping place? (can you believe i've forgotten what it's called?! HAVE TO COME HOME SOON BEFORE I FORGET EVERYTHING!)

haha, i wont have enough money to do much for a while so the paint might have to stay the same for a while!! hehe

io know, its so exciting, i'm just so stressed! i would love sooo much if you rented out the 2nd room! hehe! i was seriously considering calling and asking you that but i thought you'd laugh at me! haha! $100 a week! hehe! that would be fun..

yeah, its walking distance to pac fair and the beach!

Wow, that looks like an amazing place!! I'm really impressed that you can afford that... it seems like a place most people would buy later in life.. :)

yeah, i love it! haha, its really stretching my budget..getting something cheaper would be easier, but places are expensive here! so far the cheaper places we've looked at, my parents dont think i should buy cause of the areas they are in, etc.
