It's taken me a while to get to this point, so here's the deal.

So you can accept that this is what I believe, or you can go your own way, friend. The choice is yours.

So long as you can accept that some of us just skim those bits, dear.

Skim away. I'm not going to tell you how to think, feel, or believe - that isn't my way, and you should know that. I've just decided I'm not going to be wishy-washy on my opinions any longer. And that might come off in the wrong way to some , but I'm not going to start wearing white hoods or ask you if you've found Jesus or any of that fascist crap, either. To be honest, those sort of people would use the cross as a club to the back of the head of everyone on Earth, and the thought of me acting like one of them makes me sick.

In short, I'm not undifferent from the person I was before I got married. I'm older and wiser but I've found parts of myself that I'd been missing. Reintegration is a gradual process but I'm closer to someone I'm proud to be every day.

Bottom line: We are friends, we respect one another and we care about one another. I care enough to want to share my faith, and I also care enough not to shove it down your throat. Verstehen sie?

Beuatiful icon, by the way.

I think we had a bit of a conversation about this the other day. You acknowledge that there are other paths to the Divine, but Christ is what works for you. I accept that's what works for you. And if along the way those who are lost profit from your example and also accept the path of Christ, that's pretty good too.
