I am quite possibily unhappy in all aspects of my life right now and even eating doesn't snuff it out anymore.

The faint smell of skunk reminds me of elementary school mornings when I would wake up early to get ready for school. These instances ring especially true in the event of the first day of a new school year. My mom would get me and my sister brand new shoes from Target-- the ones that were keds knock offs that came in ultra chic navy or white. ( Read more... )

It's a good feeling to know that the rest of the world didn't jump ship. It's reassuring to hear that other folks are having a difficult time figuring out life after the BA degree. I long to have a place with friends again (hopefully that will happen soon!) so we can all get together and bond over cooking and eating and playing crazy games. I just went through 3 small pretzels my sister had made, a handful of wisecrackers with hummus and cracked black pepper and balsamic with olive oil, a bar of gone bananas chocolate covered bananas, and four bites of sushi! Whenever I think of how old I'll be turning, I forget, for a second, exactly how old I am. Someone a few months ago offhandedly asked me my age and I mistakenly said 22. But no..not yet.
