Super-Massive Nappy Time: Variations on a Lullabye Theme

Nov 28, 2008 05:53

I sat down to dinner with the Murphys this evening and after loading our plates, we made a circuit around the table with a statement of what we're thankful for. Starting with Mom, then Matt, Shannon, and on to Dad, but when it came to me, I froze up. I had to pass to Kelly for precious extra seconds.  It was pathetic.

I'm blaming my fault on ( Read more... )

We love you too, Mr. Jake. Even though you still didn't call me back... *sniffle* I demand hanging-out-with-Jake time!

Aww, Jackie, I was at work and there were no breaks that crazy day (not until late, anyway, when I went to Steak & Shake to pick up food). Dude, seriously, at work from three in the afternoon to almost six the next morning. It was sucky. And then I forgot. I'm sorry. =(

But yes, we will need to get together if only so that I can return your belongings, but hopefully also to do fun stuff. Is there any fun stuff you know of that you would like to be doing? You will also need to expound for me at length upon the subject of your travels to the eastern lands. There had better be snorkel stories, or you're not getting your stuff back.

You are so ridiculous! But I concur on all of your points (even sexy ladies, I guess; definitely A1 and Linux; fudgesicles are amazing; and FRIENDS, the most important) Just know, there are no hard feelings at this house. We didn't have to wait for your answer too long (not long enough to die of hunger, or pass out, or anything ^_~)

And again, I'm really glad you were able to come over yesterday. It was wonderful to see you; and Mum is still talking about how great you look and how well you're doing. And she wants to know if you've finished all your leftovers yet. I'm thinking maybe, especially if there was A1 involved ^_^

I'll talk to Joel and get back to you soon about fun Athens times.

Well, I can't argue with your mom. I do look pretty great. You should probably ask her to back off a little, though. I mean, she has a family and everything.

I ate all of the stuff on the pale green plate, AKA, Main Course Plate, AKA, MCP, immediately after waking from my Thanksgiving day napcrash. Side Dish Plate and Tasty Desserts Plate remain intact. Their time will come.

I cannot articulate with this feeble language how good it was to see all of you. I missed the Murphys something fierce, and that is no lie. There is a sanguine light which pours from the portals of your home, and stepping into it is stepping into the warmth of true joy.

And yes, you speak with your 'Joel'. I would see this man, and rock out with him.

Ah, that Thomas is a white knight. Still, in the battle between pretty girls and processed ice cream novelties, I'll take the former, thanks. Thomas can keep the fudgesicles. =)
