I like moving house.  Unlike most people who seem to despise it, for my part, packing up and completely altering my living situation is entirely enjoyable.  Occasionally it gets in me to troll realty sites and multiple listing services to see what sort of places I might be able to afford, and then to get discouraged with the {generally rotten} ( Read more... )

I sat down to dinner with the Murphys this evening and after loading our plates, we made a circuit around the table with a statement of what we're thankful for. Starting with Mom, then Matt, Shannon, and on to Dad, but when it came to me, I froze up. I had to pass to Kelly for precious extra seconds.  It was pathetic.

I figured I'd give myself a couple of weeks before deciding on how I felt about the new job, and the verdict is that I actually don't hate it. It's strides better than Home Depot, and working with people who run somewhat closer my personality type is a welcome change from an office filled with soccer moms and businessmen.
