insanity might not be that bad so long as you're not butchering anything as a result of it. imagine a world of total lunacy, of your own construct, where everything in your mind is perfect and well. never mind the straight jacket...in your head, in your world (mandy-land?) it feels to you like a warm and peaceful hug. those shots of sodium pentythol are nothing more to you than a good cup of coffee. you are always happy in mandy-land, and if the real world seeps through, you explain it away as the occasional bad dream.
