I wrote something. It'd probably be better kept private. However, I wear my heart on my sleeve, so here it is:

Perfect Storm
The perfect storm tearing at me.
Fleeting calm on the outside,
Concealing fierce turbulence inside,
Like an inverted hurricane.
No weathering this alone.
It only ends with a light zephyr,
That passes your comforting lips.

I wonder how much will have changed in almost 600 days. Status quo or something new? Don't really pay much attention to me.

Not putting all of the details here... I won't be able to forget them. Wednesday evening at 7:42pm my mother called me to tell me that she had discovered that someone had broken into the house. This website allows one to see those who signed a petition to ban gay marriage in Florida. The petition gathered enough support to be added to the November ballot. Homosexual marriages would probably help out our divorce rate. I don't understand why people are so afraid of change ( Read more... )
