I always gets dismayed when I listen to any politician or union leader or anyone like that talking on the radio, and especially when they are talking about education. Here is a few random jottings from me on education.

It was always a hard act to follow, but I think I give Stephen Fry 6.5 out of 10 as the new chairman of I'm sorry I havn't a clue. There is something interesting about reading about someone being a tourist in your own country. The things they notice that you just take for granted, and what it is they want to see. You also find yourself thinking about other places here they would find interesting. Hello jgkimmy, thanks for letting me read your journal :)

Last night I listened to the eurovision song contest songs (on the live radio 2 feed) and watched the voting (on the live BBC1 feed). I did try and watch the songs, but the feed wouldn't hold up, and I couldn't be bothered to go downstairs and watch it on the proper TV!

I wonder if a unions head office has ever been picketed to protest at unjustified strike action?

I was thinking like people standing outside head office with big placards with "get back to work you lazy sods" on them!

Just like we need information to keep our politicians honest we also need the rule of law to keep our Journalists honest. Which is why I hope that one of our MP's has the guts and takes the Telegraph to court over this.
Not only is the way that this information obtained surely breaking some data protection rules, it was coming out anyway and they ( Read more... )
