The first beautiful day of the season happened today...I'm dying for nice crisply temperate spring days where I can walk in the sun and enjoy the outdoors without discomfort. My cousin Kim just had her first baby...Hayden! (Brownie points if you can say why this made me giggle)
He is, of course, adorable.
It's kinda funny how perfectly rational adults start talking in high pitched, cooing voices when viewing pictures of the baby, myself included ;)

I've just returned from a mtg at Gathersburg HS where I've decided that people don't listen after hearing the same questions asked about a million ways with the same answer...grr. At least now I have a better idea of what I need to do to get the ball rolling for that dreaded interviewing process...I send resume, then schedule county interview... ( Read more... )

So, I went to the boyfriend's this weekend to spend time together since we hadn't seen each other in two weeks. I feel like I've been running a marathon lately and slacking on the metacognitive portion of life that doesn't involve dissecting lesson plans and trying not to tell education profs to bite me. I've been warned by various teachers not to have a livejournal because the kids will find it...I'm not quite sure how that works but anyhoo.
