Those letters kept me on the edge of my seat, man! I loved them. The suspense and pain was real and ... omg I'll just flail a bit here. Thanks.

(Seeing the aftermath with some new characters in a fic wouldn't be a bad thing, either.)

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed. This was a ton of fun to write and draw.

(Not sure what you mean by seeing the aftermath with some new characters? Do you mean you liked Private Harris?)

Yes! Private Harris was awesome in his tiny cameo parts.

Thank you! Sky wrote Private Harris (she wrote Roy's letters and his, I wrote Ed and Hawkeye). I really liked him a lot.

Fucking love this - it's not a telegram so I can say what I want! I've got these letters but I don't think most of the photos made it out of the warzone, which is a damned shame 'cause there were a few well-licked ones I'd have love to seen (so I could lick my computer screen XD) Brilliant!

I would have loved to have made this fully illustrated but it would have taken me a good while - I'm not the fastest artist. O_o Thanks, so glad you enjoyed - it was such a fun collab, pinging each other letters.

Aww... This is so sweet. I was so scared it would have a sad ending, but I'm glad everything worked out okay. :)

Hilarious and beautiful, you've made me cry on the commuter train! I love everything about this, but particularly Roy's flowery language and Ed's hedging about the plumbing and the glimpses of Riza and Al andI love George Harris and the art and also Ed's outfit in that illo!!

\o/ Sky wrote Roy and I wrote Ed, if you haven't guessed already! I love how Sky writes Roy being charming on paper, and I agree with the George Harris love (he was all her work too :D). I wrote Riza. Her character voice is a lot of fun to write, given how restrained she is. Anyway, we had so much fun writing this and I can't believe we made you cry on the train! *pats you* This is revenge for when you made me cry with Twenty-One. :P

I think taking turns making each other cry is the foundation of fandom. Also, you are both fantastic, if I didn't know you I would never have even guessed it was written by two people! The switches in voices help that, I guess, but really the whole story fits seamlessly together, regardless of who was writing what.

Haha, I think you might be right.

I think RP-style co-writing really lends itself to epistolary fic! With a rough plot, the pacing and switches of character voice sort of came together naturally, whereas I've found other RP-inspired fics need a lot of editing and chopping down to work in fic form.

Also, thank you! :3
