Been on vacation for the last two weeks. It was good! Heather and I got a bunch of work done around the house, I got some bike riding in, we went to the cottage, went canoe camping and I got my road bike back in functional condition.

It feels strange to be back at work, I think my head is still in holidays. :)

I recently bought a mug top coffee maker for my office cube. I don't know whether it's the coffee I'm using or the grounds to mug ratio, but the resultant caffeination from this setup is ridiculous. I thought my coffee saturated body could no longer achieve such levels of caffeine. I have been proven wrong!

Two German cycle tourists have been staying with us for the past two days. They've had a huge trip, lots of good stories. Good luck with the rest of your trip guys!

I had a fantastic weekend. Some friends of mine (Sara, Vanessa and Laura) are biking to the East coast of Canada. H and I biked with them for a day, camped with them, and then biked home the next day. It was great ( Read more... )

Assuming it's not raining cats and dogs tomorrow, H, S, V, L (who I have not met) and I will be heading off to Montreal via bike!

I was just on the MEC website and noticed they are selling the crank brothers Cobalt wheelset now. It's the only wheelset MEC sells. I find it very strange that MEC is selling this (high end race mountain biking) wheelset. Kind of like if they only sold one kayak and it was a ultralight carbon fiber racing kayak.
