I for some reason do not know how to change my existing account from open to friends-only.

Any ideas? It will be greatly appreciated.

This is being done to to certain readers and commenters. (You know who you are)

Anyway, I'm not sure if there's a way to set it up like that automatically... I'm sure there must be because so many people do it. But you can screen comments when you're in the process of posting something. It's one of the drop down menu boxes surrounding the text box. You can also set the specific entry to friends only in the same way, just with a different menu.

unfortunately you have to edit every entry that you ever made from the inside, then you just leave one entry only stating that its friends only, that's the only one non friends will see when they go to the journal, I wish there was a way to mass edit entries, to 'friends only' but there is not.
