Declaring this weekend PWNT!

Nov 12, 2006 23:08

It's Sunday at 5:00, and my weekend isn't done yet. This rocks, but it also means I've been very busy.

Details, details, details )

That was all rather surreal, the threat of archers, hearing gun shots, and military drilling off in the distance... twas fun, but a bit unnerving at times.

And thank you! many of your earth times for the Thai food, it was enjoyed severely by all in the household.

I had a most excellent time. Thank you again for lunch and sticking around for Chocolate Factory. I had a most excellent time.

How are you feeling this morning? We did less grunt work in caves, however my legs are a little burn like. It could be the result of carrying Tater for so long (I hope. Else, I'm in terrible shape!!!).

Both of you forgot cameras though. It's....I just don't have the right word there. NO CAMERA???? ARG!!!

OH, and Tater and I crashed around 7:00, on the couch. I was woke up when my dad called me for some reason. Heh heh.

That's a good tired!!!!

My pleasure! It was fun. I crashed, hard, shortly after posting our cast list around 11:00 last night, so I got plenty of sleep. I feel great! Sorry you've got some sore muscles. Tate's getting pretty big to carry for long stretches of hiking. Do you know how much he weighs? I know they do have backpack kid carrier thingies for little people that might make life easier, but I think their upper weight limit is around 40-50 pounds.

Yup, fun trip. Thanks for inviting me along.

I said "most excellent time twice."

I'm a dork.

Tater is in the 30's range. He might be in the upper 30's by now. He hasn't been weighed in a while. That backpack thing sounds like a swell idea, but it isn't going to change the extra work for my legs. They need it though, my legs, so it's a good burn.

"oooo, I'm so heavy" I hear that in Tater voice. It makes me happy.

What does PWNT mean?

All hep cats think it's the bee's knees. bobmanasco November 13 2006, 19:32:23 UTC
Hee hee -- it's the newfangled way kids nowadays say "dominated." It comes from competitive first-person shooter games, like Counter Strike: Source or Halo, but has since crossed over into other games and even more general usage. It is pronounced "Owned!" or "Powned!" I'm not quite sure why it has a P instead of an O, but it does. Maybe it's a typo that just caught on, kinda like "teh".

Player 1 shoots and kills Player 2.
Player 1: "Oh! Dude! I just pwnt you!"

Oh - I completely don't get it. I'm OLD.

I still don't like "teh". It makes me squirm, kind of like someone saying "da bomb."

Why can't cool typo's cath on; for instance: Mondat, apopogize, and nigit?

Those at the very least make sense.
Perhaps only to me, but they do make sense.
