I just got back from a sushi bar and am rather stuffed with nice good sushi. It was one of those places where all the chefs shout things when anyone enters or leaves. The only scary thing was when I stirred up the miso and two prawn heads floated to the surface

When i lived in Roppongi as a kid, I had a view of Tokyo tower.
It was built 1m taller than the Eiffel tower. The French stuck an aerial on their's to make it taller again. - So the Japanese did the same....

That explains the gratuitous comedy arial on top. I think this is the 1st time I've seen it not obscured by clouds or fog.

In the 70's it was smog on most days...
You used to be able to go up to the top, where i think there was a small aquarium.

Consierding my entire knowlegde of Tokyo Tower comes from anime, it's surprisinly tame. It's just a building, no cloaked mystics standing on it bringing about the end of the world or something.

I have got what I think might be a japanese coin. I'm not sure where it came from but the Chinese cashiers won't take it. I will bring it along too.

I found a place in Beijing that did fried prawns on a stick. You have to eat them intact, head and all. A bit crunchy but very tasty
