Yet again something wrong with the flat. This time it turns out the people who did the work on the flat before we bought it duped the council into certifying the work as being up to spec when it wasn't (in short it was supposed to be certified as material change of use, but was certified as a refurb). Does the wifemonster need any help shifting furniture? I appear to be free all day on Tuesday (and, indeed, most of the week)...

Not that I am generally of a litigious nature, but that's worth suing the f*** out of them. Misrepresentation on part of the seller, I would think.

Hm. On re-reading, the sellers were unaware, duped by the workers?

I'd be very surprised if the sellers were unaware. The question for now is not "shall we sue?", but "whom shall we sue?"

I was vague on the topic since this is a public journal and I don't want anything out there that may affect any court cases.

Tonight the wifemonster and I spent testing sounds levels with Equipment which should stand up in court.
