I know as the election nears we all may not share the same views on the candidates, but there is a very good website that attempts to be non-partisan (and, i think they are pretty successful at that):

In the event our main candidates do not receive a majority (270) electoral votes, which is possible, since there are t538 electoral votes cast, Congress can follow the 12th amendment to solve the matter...
you should read it. the possible implications of this are scary...

Randy Pausch died today.
he is truly an inspirational person. if you have not seen it, yet. Find the Last Lecture on Youtube. It makes you want to be a better person and thankful for people like Dr. Pausch.

weird...i have not used this thing in months. i am not planning on changing that either, but i figured i would say, "hi".
i use my myspace more and my paper journal for the rest.
