Semana Santa is done and I only have a couple days left until I pack up for a week at the beach. Well, It is now mid-way through Semana Santa, the week that Seville gets crowded with wealthy tourists. Well, that isn't all, it also gets crowded with people carrying religious icons the size of trucks on their necks that are made of wood, silver, and gold. They are incredible. So Carly and I were absolutely trashed tonight and after I walked her home (got a ride from the bartander home). I got mother fuckin robbed, some jackass offered me crack..then he thrust his fucking hand in my pocket and took my phone then ran. What a crappy day. A group of us were going to wake up around 9 and take photos, but it is the worst weather day of the trip. It has rained non-stop since about 3-am apparently. Not too much to report back with now. I have been looking at what I want to do for part of semana santa, I want to see part of the festivities here, but the whole town more than doubles in price. A bottle of Coke can cost over 3euros then as opposed to 1, a hotel will be almost 200euro instead of 100euro....depending entirely on what some morons ( Read more... )
