Well, actually they have at least two things in common:
1) They seem to be the only two candidates who understand the concept of blowback and the root causes and enabling/contributing factors of international terrorism, and
2) neither will be nominated by their party.

what doesn't scare people about politics now?

I scare myself, why? I find myself leaning more and more to democrats.

I grew up around a household where the key benchmark of politics was:

" I was democrat until I got a real job"

at first glance, I thought you wrote "that's like trying to stomp puppys"

I was going retort that your analogy is flawed. I am certain that given the time and resources, we as a nation could stomp all puppies, everywhere.
