Kurt Vonnegut may be dead. It's hearsay from a friend of a friend of a friend, but yeah. It's not official, and it's very possible that it's not true at all, but if it is, everyone who reads my livejournal (and el_jay mirandathejoy's) is the first to know.

i still really hope it's wrong.

he is, though, over 80 years old. so it's not totally unrealistic.

The friend works at a hospital where he is interred. I wouldn't even mention it, but the fact that no one would joke around about that, and the fact that it doesn't take that much energy to let everyone know makes it much easier to tell everyone.
