I'm enjoying sitting on the patio in the lovely sunshine and reading a book. Life is good.

Getting blood out of the carpet isn't easy.
I have been finding bloody paw-prints everywhere this morning. Hardy was alternately protecting and licking his right front paw, and when I finally convinced him to let me look at it closely, I found a cut in the top pad that's almost half the length of the pad. Walking the dog can be hazardous to my health.
While walking the dog tonight, I slipped on some wet leaves and wrenched my knee. After I get out of my wet clothes and into pj's, I'm going to relax in the recliner and ice the knee. -

No more "Brooks and Dunn"
Well, no more after the farewell tour and the 'best of' CD . . . and probably a reunion tour in a few years, and a special edition CD, and . . . I didn't realize they'd been together for 20 years. I guess with Sugarland now getting all the duo awards that B&D used to get, it's a good time to end. -

I'm stranded! I just picked up my car from the dealer (oil change, new CV boots), and was halfway home when the car died. I had to floor the gas to move at a crawl. Thankfully, I'm in an area with lots of parking. I called the dealer, and they're sending someone with a loaner car and will arrange getting my car to the shop. See, this is why I ( Read more... ) -

The dog trainer called this afternoon, and the first thing she said after identifying herself was, "I LOVE your dog!" I said I love him, too, and I miss him like crazy!
