I think I'm coming down with a cold, and I'm too tired to write about my incredibly fantastic trip to Vegas, but a few friends on LJ have gone though some tough times with men and I wanted to share this.
I got a message on OKC today from this sweet guy. I've heard this quote before, and while it's supremely cheesy, it also rings true.

Update...hmm..well, I had a plumbing fiasco Thursday night. Scott was over doing my laundry and the washing machine made my main sewer line in the basement back up. I just re-read my post from last evening. Yes, I had a mini-breakdown but I always gain clearer perspective in the morning.

Woke up with a slight fever and sore throat. Home from work today.
I just watched a cooking show all the through. This is something I never do, however, the cook was so charming and gorgeous she held my attention. I now have a slight girl-crush on Finnish/American chef/designer/former model Sara La Fountain. She looks a lot like Kiera Knightly. ( Read more... ) -

The dog days of summer
When I first got Pippin about three months ago, he was obese. The vet shook his head in dismay when I brought him in for a checkup. We were both mad at the previous owners for not walking him and overfeeding him into a state of lethargy. I suppose that why they wanted him to go to someone else.
