So, upon arriving at my dorm (Churchill Hall), I met the porter and the secretary, both of whom were very nice, and the secretary (Jan) gave me a sack lunch since the servery (cafeteria) wasn't open. Got to my room, and unpacked. Didn't take long, since I could reach the desk, drawers, and shelves from sitting on the bed. I wouldn't say half as ( Read more... )

Tiny room! Is the bed even (gasp!) smaller than the one we shared at home? I doubt it. :)

I'm also glad to hear you made it safely and you're already making friends on the floors! Very awesome! You're always pretty personable, though, so I definitely wouldn't have put that past you.

Also, no showers? Interesting.... Hopefully you'll find ones to use soon! Good luck choosing classes and let me know when you can Skype.

I'm afraid that yes, it is smaller than the one we shared :P By about 6 inches in width. The room is tiny, but I don't have too much stuff here anyway so it's alright. Hopefully I'll get all my classes dealt with today. I think we can plan on Skyping tonight. what time do you get off work? Just email me, and we can set up a time tonight. Hopefully it won't be too late, I'm still pretty tired :(
