As I suspected, I have tonsilitis. Hurts like hell to swallow, tonsils swollen up like large white-coated grapes, ear ache and swelling of various glands. Hopefully the antibiotic will make recovery faster, but for now swallowing anything at all makes me want to cry.

My mom called me this morning to offer me a job back at the family business. It would be M-F 8-5pm and two Saturdays a month, $11.00/hour with full benefits, and I'd be helping my family with the business. Of course, I'd have to move back home to Maine. My parents visited me after work today. It was nice. We ate out at a restaurant, talked a bit, and I got to give them both a bunch of hugs. Spent the afternoon with Katie H. today. We went into the city, ate at Uno's and watched "V for Vendetta," which was fairly good. I just finished reading Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. The fact that I stayed awake until 6:00am in the morning reading the final hundred pages should be somewhat of an indication of how much I enjoyed the book.
