Oh god at first I was infuriated by their blatant ignorance but now I just feel like crying.God what they did was so fucking inhumane and despicable.

This reminds me of the stories I would hear when I was younger. In mexico it's very common for gay men to be chased and beat in the streets even in broad daylight just for being gay.
