The 3 1/2 weeks of training for my new job required a final test which was on Monday. It was multiple choice "open book" and an 80% was required to pass. I had 75%. Earlier this week I got the call that my company won't be able to call me back to work. I've been furloughed for 4 months now, and I'm still officially employed and on furlough for 2 more months, but they wanted to let me know I'm on the cut list with enough time to hopefully find another job ( Read more... )

Last week the counties here in south-west North Dakota finally had drive-up testing sites for CoVid-19. My county was on Saturday, and I was at the county courthouse parking lot bright and early for my test.

I've just received the call that my test came back negative!

Now may I have the antibody test so I can find out if I've already had it?

I've been furloughed from work. It's expected to last 60 days, but could be extended if the travel situation does not turn around. So I do expect to not be working for longer than the 60 days. I filed for unemployment assistance, and my savings is fairly healthy right now, so I'd be fine to not work for up to 6 months ( Read more... )
