I'm still breathing. What more could you ask? Wales is alright, but yes, Amsterdam wins. Certainly old people get the good drugs. My grandfather is (presumably) full of them, and still finds the time to assault OAP home inmates and cause the police to call, so maybe old age won't be so bad. I'm looking forward to being an antique hellraiser. How's planning the wedding going? (Will I need to buy a hat?)

I like Dutch - I can only really do the important stuff, like ordering food and beer and being polite, but seeing as no one seems to bother trying, you seem to get major points with the locals for just trying. The embarrassing thing is that because Zeeland is the bit of Holland we used to spend most time, my family all speak Dutch with broad Zeeland accents. Apparently this is the equivalent of a Dutch person speaking English with a broad West Country accent, and is therefore hilarious.
