Happy Christmas, everyone!

I've been very ill recently, and one of the side effects has been a complete inability to sleep. As a result, I've taken to listening to Radio Four all night - it's calming, and coming from a sailing sort of background, the shipping forecast at about quarter to one is sometimes enough to send me to sleep. Well, my contract's been extended until next week, which is technically a Good Thing. However, marking exam papers all day in a windowless room is slowly destroying whatever small faith in the future of the human race I may have had left. Our future is averaging a D grade. And can't spell. And I *still* have a cold. Mneh.

Argh. Uck.
Good/bad day.
Thanks to the lovely xxheartcorexx, I have a job to go to tomorrow. It's only a week long contract, but it's a damn sight better than nothing. And we went for lunch today, which was nice ( Read more... )
