You missed Lil getting mad. She finally mixed things up with the arrangement, but it was Bette Milder, who's another outstanding "diva" style singer, so Lil was going to come out losing that one. Simon fussed. Lil had finally had enough. She went off. I feel bad for her, but Simon was right that it still didn't work.

Also, lil was kinda pitchy, which sort of doubly undercuts an arrangement that didn't work.
