A big UGH on the weight gain! I think it's up to about 20 lbs now in one month! I think I've finally conquered the cravings now and the scales are starting to show a very slow reversal.

A lot of my dreams seem to be adventure-related. I'm hoping to actually start remembering a few of them so that I can start using them as writing fodder.

Just be careful, babe. These meds don't do much more than placebo as it is, and if you're already messing with your brain chemistry by taking them, you might as well take them in the way so that they actually help! Mine's fairly easy to be taken regularly, though, since I take it before bed and wow does it zonk me out.

That, and I think the meds are only really useful to life you enough out of the funk so that you can deal with the issues that have put you into the funk. Otherwise, those issues remain ...

I just wish they made me happier, as opposed to just not depressed.

I get old school Doctor Who from Netflix. There isn't complete continuity, the disks are released in dribs and drabs, and the catalogue is still building. I think I enjoy the accompanying commentaries more than I do revisiting the old stories. I was thrilled to find out that Tom Baker's peculiar tip-toe gait was due to the flimsy sets buckling and bouncing if he walked around flat-footed. Tom Baker will always be my Doctor, although David Tennant is a joy, and I really enjoy the juicy snark in the commentaries directed at Baker and his bullying diva moments.

I am glad your meds bring you some improvement. I am still bullied by malaise, but it is more a lethargic thing. Or, maybe I am just made anxious by the compulsion to be doing something when there isn't actually anything needing to be done.

I've just started my search for the older episodes now that I've completely ravaged through the new series. I did see the very first episode on youtube. I'll let you know how my search continues! (Canada Post is teh sux0rs up here, so netflix and the likes aren't really worth it.)

Sounds to me like you've got some idle hands! I could recommend activities for that, but I'm sure you can manage. :D

I contrive endless variations of autoerotic humiliation. The possibilities of self-degradation and debauchery appear exhausted. One hopes and dreads what inspiration to novel vileness may yet come. Sometimes, I find nourishment in the bleak confessionals of others.

Everyone and their cat seems to know about Torchwood, though I'm guessing that that's more due to the GLBT-friendly nature of the show than anything else. (How did I miss out for so long?) I've already finished Torchwood, though. :(

OMG I <3 Arrested Development! I think the only reason it didn't last longer was because of all the inside jokes - yanno, the ones you only laugh at if you've seen the previous episode(s) to which they're alluding.

How's season 4 of Battlecrack going? Only a few more weeks until the remaining half of season 4 is airing again in January!

I certainly hope I'm on the right road! I haven't seen a place to stop and ask for directions in some time now!
