An ode to boredom

I often bitch about how boring my job is, but I don't think I've ever REALLY tried to show people what it is that I do all day. So, today, since my co-worker is gone for a week and I don't even have her crazy stories to listen too, I used my laptop camera and took me some (illegal) pictures of my lovely, exciting job.

Aw thanks! Hahaha! And yeah, I have to come fully stocked with lots of pretzels gum and yogurt, or else i'd loose my mind. That and I spend most of my day fantasizing about what I'm going to eat for dinner, hahaha!

New hair color is secks. It's also freaked-out my metal image of you, which is you with bright-orange hair. Blue is the color-wheel opposite of orange. :0

Boring job is boring. Do you get to look at the photos the cards refer to, at least?

hahaha! It's because my hair exists only in the nega-verse, so now it's blue.

At the job I originally had all I did was look at the images from the cards and although it doesn't seem like a lot, it made the job actually pretty fun. But now, no, I just see those cards, nothing else. Which is frustrating when you get something like "Alligator cures cancer"

I realize now I wrote "metal image of you", I meant "mental image of you", 'cause metal-ness isn't determined by someone's hair color--it's determined by the number of human babies they can eat in an hour.

Hrm... It could be worse! Some days I just sit there all day and do nothing which, at first, sounds nice. All day at the beach just sitting there. Then you have to realize that that's all day at the beach sitting there whether it's cold or warm or whatever and you can't just go in the water willy nilly. Then of course there's days like last sunday. 2 personal rescues and like 5-6 rescues from people around me i got to back up.

Hahaha! yeah, i actually can really sympathize with you. Doing nothing sound GREAT, but it's really not. And it's even worse for you because you have to do nothing and like, watch and be ready to do something! What beach are you at? I'm in the venice/santa monica/malibu area a lot these days, and I was wondering what you were up to!

i got one more week before school starts again, something i've less than enthusiastic about. and... you know... i have no idea what my last week's schedule is going to be. the captain said things are changing up a bit so i have to check on saturday when i go back. after that? 4 day a week class (though i do have a friday class that meets once in a while so when that happens, it's 5 days a week) and it's all a bunch of crap i should have taken years ago but just never did.

rockband wednesdays though at the Sports Harbour in marina del rey. i think next week might be my last one though. stupid school. getting in the way of everything.
