It feels like this has been increasing every year.

Why does it seem more common than ever for people I know to date or to want to date someone who is obviously totally wrong for them?

I was thinking of this when I came across this story. It's different from the way I heard it originally, but it works better for my purposes now.

Apparently, I missed a few phone calls and messages this week.

I've always had bad reception here, which sometimes leads to garbled messages and calls not getting through, but it seems to have been a more frequent occurrence lately.

Just thought I'd let people know.

Also I'm behind again on everyone's journal, but I'll try to catch up later.

About that somewhat impromptu party, Elyse decided that she wanted to try doing the party-thing properly, with more notice.

We'll probably throw her a proper party when we live together.
