[Today, one might find a small cat around the village. Once in awhile, it will bound after insects or play with a loose rope or peer in a nearby window. It's a pretty nondescript cat, like one of any number of strays that one might find around the village

[Haruki comes on over to here and... why is there a cat sitting on my SOS-Brigade doorstep. This could be Uriko, right? But the wing color is wrong. Suspicious, he decides to... poke the cat]

[The cat's tail flicks out at the poke, and its ears move a bit. Leon hazily acknowledges that some jerk's poking at him, claws extending slightly. He's tired, dang it.]

[And the cat make a "hmph" sort of snort, lifting its head to look at Haruki. Sleepily. Nap times are for napping, dude.

Those Filial wings fluff up in annoyance. It's not like it was time for a meeting or anything. ...Maybe. He didn't exactly keep track of the time.]

[Foot will watch this 'newcomer' from the shelter of the abandoned house 16's porch. Occasionally, she'll flick a tail or ear, or carefully wash her face, but she won't venture onto the grass. still, if Leon!Cat bounds close enough in his pouncing she'll trill a quiet greeting to him.]

[And he definitely will! He hears Foot's trill for a fair distance away, abandoning a hopping cricket so he can make his way over. He purrs in greeting; real cat or no, he can enjoy Foot's company just as well.]

[And with the advent of Another Cat!, Foot will stand to properly greet him with a nose sniff and quiet purr. Her short tail does a brief rotary circle as she identifies him.]

...Leon?

[He lets out a little peep of a meow in acknowledgment. It'd be handy if he could speak into others' minds too, but he can't.]

Hi Foot. Nice day?

[Leon had been about to hop back down off the window when he noticed movement on the other side, and he tilts his head curiously at the boy that who comes up to the window. He brushes his paw against the glass, as if mimicking Sheik's wave.]

[He doesn't extend his claws, his tail playfully switching back and forth as he watches the kid inside. It's always fun to play with other people around ... unless they get too handsy. He recalls a few times he started scratching because he'd been grabbed suddenly or ... cuddled too much.

But for now, he meows in acknowledgment, pawing at the window and 'waving' again.]

[Leon had actually been peering inside Haruki's house, checking if he was around. No luck, though. When he hears the voice, his attention snaps away from the window, and he tilts his head upward at the girl who had come up.

He meows in greeting. Acting cute never hurt, right?]

[Nice girl. And she smells good, too. Leon moves his head back and forth at the scratching, beginning to purr as he starts sniffing at her hands.

Man, the advantages of being a cat. He could never do anything like this if he was anything less.

His tail sways side to side lazily.]

[Taka had been wandering the village and spotted something small and feline bounding around the village. Of course, he investigates.]

[Leon has followed a few crickets around, pouncing on taller patches of grass even though it's unlikely he'll get anything out of it. Feline he may be, but skilled hunter he is not; he'd still grown up around more books than birds and bugs.

...The patch of grass he's just jumped into is particularly tall. He might not see an investigating lion right away.]
