Twelfth spell → [Accidental Video]

[The view is a bit shaky for a moment, as it seems that the PCD has fallen out of a bag as Hermione tries to keep said bag out of the reach of a certain two-tailed kitten. There's a flash of fur as the kitten backs away from the canvas bag, dragging a rectangular package out of it and chewing through the tinted red wrapping as her owner speaks

[She takes a moment to shut the video off long enough for her to wipe the camera, then turns it back on, sitting in her bed with a squirming kitten in her free hand.]

Oh-... no, that's fine, thank you. Unless... well, these are just some holiday gifts.... I know you don't have the same kinds of holidays in your world as we do in mine, but... and there aren't any stores or anything around....

But I did make you something. If you want to come by and pick it up. Or I could go and meet up with you. Whatever's easiest.

Well, she is a kitten. And my Yvonne used to be like that, sometimes. The one at home, I mean, the one here's kind of cute even if she is thorny.

You named your cat here after the one you have at home? I think Ron might have been cross with me if I even dreamed of naming Hestia after Crookshanks.

Just to try and unravel it all at the end! [She's clutching Hestia to her chest to keep her still, and the kitty looks quite pleased with herself.]

Maybe I should just give up on hiding things; after all, if time works so oddly here, it has to be Christmas in some universe, hasn't it? [And she laughs a bit at that.]

[She huffs a little, trying to control the squirming kitten in her arm.] I am patient. It's just a little aggravating, having her underfoot and destroying things just when I've gotten them done up all nicely.

[ He chuckles at what he sees, smiling. ] How 'bout I come over an' look after 'er so that you can finish with what yer doing?

[Hagrid! You just made Hermione very happy!] Oh, would you! That would be a big help! I don't think you've properly met her yet, have you? She's really very sweet, she's just in a bit of a state right now.
