wouldn't it be cool if they trained the monkeys to replace the dental hygienists? they wouldn't even have to pay them.

I can't decide which one I like more...the bluntness of the drunk booty call, or the 10/28 American Eagle song message. I know you passed this off like a potential waste of time but I love it and am envious of you for saving your text messages. It reminds me of this book Mr Mike's has called "Found" or something like that. It's a book of random pieces of paper found all over the world. Love notes, grocery lists, notes left on cars, notes ripped out of notebooks and thrown away, etc. I love tiny, inexplicable glimpses into people's lives like that. I guess that's why I blog. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is feel free to post something like this again.

ME too. that's why i'm addicted to blogs. i'm glad you found some amusement/interest here. don't worry, i'm full of random stuff like this. it's not in short supply. :o)

as for text messages themselves...sometimes i forget some of them, and reading them when my box gets too full takes me back to the first moment i received them. i remember where i was and what i was doing when i received every single one, yet i can never remember what the date is. go figure. maybe if dates were funny and/or poetic words instead of numbers, i would remember them better.
