That said, back to school means kids need to buy texts (if they buy their own copies -- I know I did a lot for English)... and Christmas is looming ever nearer.
Feeding birds and squirrels -- cool. Makes me think of that Beaver cartoon I can't think of the name of for some absurd reason. Don't ask why. If I knew, I'd understand why I'm so nuts.
We don't sell textbooks. This is actually probably a good thing. We do get students in needing to buy books off their teacher's reading list--a lot of them have waited til the last minute to attempt to find some obscure book that nobody has, because the few copies that were on the shelves have been snapped up by their less procrastinating classmates. On the whole, though, not a lot of students buying books for use in school.
Christmas may be coming, but that doesn't mean we have to look forward to it with baited breath three months away...or rather, the retail madness between now and then!
