My grandma's memorial service went really well on Tuesday, which was nice. My dad spoke, and so did Grandma's brother, and a few other people. It's sad to have her gone, but at least we sent her off well.

Just got off the phone with my cousin Jon. He was calling to see how I was holding up, since my grandma (my dad's mom) died an hour ago.

Nobody had called to let me know. Granted, it was only an hour ago, so I'm not surprised nobody called, but it was an interesting start to the evening.

This makes my dad an orphan, and that makes me really sad.

It amuses me that when I find webpages like this, my first thought is not YAY PRETTY LADIES, but rather DUDE THREE FLOORS OF BOOKS OMG.
