Layla came back from studying and dumped her books unceremoniously by her bed, giving Evie a concerned look when she saw her staring. "Hey Evie. How was your day?"

"The Goddess of Love was the guest lecturer in my Myths class." Evie continued staring at the mugs. "I should have asked her what to do about these. And if last weekend counted." She sighed. "Did I get you more cookies for your part in stopping that?"

"I was just doing my roommate duty," Layla said, grinning. "If I was crazy and clearly about to do something I'd regret later, I think you would stop me. As for these..." She trailed off, picking up one of the mugs. "I don't know if even the Goddess of Love would know what to do."

"I'm still very grateful, though." Evie shook her head, looking woebegone. "I haven't seen that boy in any of my classes, or around the dorm. But then, someone turned into a lion cub. He could be any of the boys that I don't know very well." She chewed her lip, thinking. "Perhaps... a notice? On the landings? 'Found, two mugs and a book?' But oh, what if he came by to pick them up?" Evie put a pillow over her face.

Irulan had an encyclopedic book on Roman history with her when she knocked at the door. "Evie?"

Evie opened the door, then brightened when she saw Irulan. "Hello! Did your hat ever turn back into a hat?"

Irulan looked woeful. "No, it remained as a blueberry pie but I've opened my doors for anyone who would like to eat it."

"Then I shall definitely have to stop by for some," Evie said, holding the door open. "Please, come in. Would you like some cocoa? How are your classes going this week?"

Tyler didn't like material possessions, but he couldn't manage without his only mugs.

He went upstairs to Nefertiti's room, hoping whoever-she-was in real life had managed to completely block the other Tyler's .... whatever-that-was.

He rapped on the door. "Hello?"

Evie opened the door, and looked enquiring. "Yes? Can I help you?"

Half-recognizing "Nefertiti" but trying not to make eye contact, Tyler poked his nose inside her room and looked at the desk. "My mugs and book. You have them."

Brusque worked.

"I--" Evie was going to say, I have what? but then she realized who this was. "Oh! Oh. Ohhh. One, one second--" She rushed over to the mugs and the book, turning bright scarlet. "Yes. Sorry. I didn't know, where to leave them, or how to find you... Sorry. So sorry." She handed over the mugs and book, unable to look him in the face. But did see enough to know she never would have recognized him.
