There was a strange sensation of nothing and suddenly becoming. Irulan didn't move for the longest time.
It felt like not a second has passed but it was night time and her Bene Gesserit trained senses knew that she had lost more than time.
She had ceased to be.
Irulan breathed deeply and after a beat, began moving again. -

Irulan had breakfast prepared, today was the day after Leto's graduation and soon, Leto would be leaving. It was inevitable and yet Irulan felt the hitch of sadness but today was not for sadness, today was for celebration. -

A storm hit my country pretty badly and most of Manila is underwater. Fortunately my family and I were unaffected by the flood but I probably won't be around a lot. I'll still pick-up pings albeit very slowly.

We're currently experiencing power outages and Irulan and Dani Reese probably won't be around tomorrow unless our local power company fixes the problem soon :(.
