"So, how is your business going?" Leto asked lightly as Irulan met him in the hall.

"Very well," Irulan answered, holding out a hand for Leto. "The hats practically sell themselves."

"Sell themselves? You make it sound as if they can communicate." he teased, taking her hand.

"Considering how colorful some of my hats are and this island I don't think that's so far off."

Irulan tucked his hand into the crook of her elbow. "And how fare you, stepson? Looking forward returning to your desert?"
