First off: Nearly all my Christmas shopping is done, but my BIL's ex-wife hasn't called me back to discuss what to get for my nephew, so i haven't done that yet. I also haven't done two other gifts, but i feel pretty good about how much is done. So, today my newly remodeled laundry room received its new tenants. The stacking washer and dryer are a bit smaller than I had realized - well, actually, the washer is the problem, not the dryer. I had failed to realize - and this is all on me - that the front load washer will not have the same capacity as a top load washer of the same size. This ( Read more... )

So, B and I tackled a pretty major project last weekend/this week. We moved the washer and dryer out of the laundry room, ripped up the old linoleum floor, and replaced it.
