Well, we decided to go with the uberexpensive one. But, I just feel like she needs to be in a small class that is pretty unstructured, and this gives her that. So, good bye disposable income. bleh.

someday soon i will actually sit down and do a real livejournal entry, but i just cant get up the energy to do that today. bleh.

ugh. i have been scoping out preschools. ugh.

Has to be done, though. otherwise i will never finish this stupid dissertation.

Took Alia to the ped on Monday. The double ear infection is still gone, but her ears aren't draining as fast as they would like. So, the doc had me schedule another visit with them for 2 weeks out, and one with the ENT for three weeks out. the idea being if she is all better, we can cancel the ENT visit. So, Alia's double ear infection required a second (bigger) round of antibiotics. Thankfully, the ears are no longer infected, but she still has a lot of fluid. So, we have to take her back in two weeks to make sure the fluid is draining properly ( Read more... )

So, yesterday a box arrived from Gummylump.com. I love Gummylump - they have great toys. Anyway, the box was SUPPOSED to contain (1) a puzzle for Alia and (2) the Christmas gift for my nephew Elijah.
