Stubborn ear infections and stuff

So, Alia's double ear infection required a second (bigger) round of antibiotics. Thankfully, the ears are no longer infected, but she still has a lot of fluid. So, we have to take her back in two weeks to make sure the fluid is draining properly ( Read more... )

Since they want to try nasal-spray steroids if she hasnt drained that gunk out in 2 weeks, I'm thinking the chiropractor sounds like a decent option.

So, how the devil do I find one that isnt crummy? I have enough problems finding doctors that aren't crummy, and I get lists for those. *sigh*

ugh! I know! I was really scared that I'd find one of those "here sign this contract for 1 visit a week for 2 years" chiros.

Do you have a health food store in your area? You can call there and ask fi they know of any hands on TRADITIONAL care chiropractors. We found Flora's through word of mouth and he's really great. Start asking everyone you know, and if they have a chiro to recommend make sure their chiropractor doesn't do expensive x-rays or hooks ppl up to machines that does the manipulation. That's crap. :)

huh. i may try doing that. its a little tough because the only real health food store around is pretty far from me. but i can try. Thanks for the suggestion!
